Interesting read. I'm not sure, but I think the lesson is that the justice system does not work!

 

I got pulled over for "running a red light" about 7 years ago. It's a large intersection, the Speed Limit is 25, and the transition between green to red is 5 seconds. (I know I went back and counted). And the light is suspended over the center of the intersection.
I went to court and stated that the light was green when I entered the intersection and that I never saw a red light. The cop was asked if I entered the intersection after the light was red and he said no. Ticket got tossed. The was a City of Cincinnati cop and he told the truth. I was shocked and very relieved.
If this had been a small town, the Judge/Mayor/Barber would have found me guilty charged me the ticket costs and court fees and I would have no case. (its happened to me. The ticket the cop wrote didn't even have my License Plate number correctly written.)
