I went to a Audi event this morning and they let me drive this thing



A Audi RS4. 4.2L V8 that pumps out 420HP!!! 6 speed manual with Quattro AWD. The one thing I noticed was that the clutch was light. Lighter than in my MCS . I almost stalled it a couple of times b/c I was not expecting it to be so light. But anyways, I can't believe I got to drive a car with more than 400 horsepower.

 

So sexy. At least you picked a good thing to cheat on the MINI with.

I hate the Audi clutch. Faaarrr too light. Its a huge complaint I have with my 2005 A4.

i had a student in nashville that had one of those and he wanted me to drive it to show him how i would handle it. a simply amazing car.

I never thought the day would come that I would like the look of Audis over BMWs. Audis are looking fantastic.. BMWs..

an E46...sort of (from that angle only). BMW had a great thing going,
but just screwed it up this time, imho.

 

Yup, me too. The new Audis may all look the same but they look very good in comparison.

We are not by nature a monogamous species, therefore you should feel no guilt by having more than one automotive lover. Many of us are afflicted by the same MINI/Audi dichotomy, faithful to both brands, yet married to neither. Some, dare say I many, harbor additional automotive fantasies. Sad but true, I talked to the AUDI dealer yesterday. All 20 RS4 that they have for that event will be crushed after the event is over.

They brought 12 RS4 and 10 Q7 preproduction cars for "Street of Tomorrow" show.
