Is that an Elise 111R? Fords do it all the time, people still buy them.

yea, I've seen some of Active Autowerk's pieces. I'm suprised that with the supercharger kit and the nitrous kit, it doesn't go faster than a 11.98, althought a 125 trap speed is pretty impressive. Pretty good reaction time, so I guess they couldn't get it to hook up.

111R, 111S, 135R, 160S,Sport 135, Sport 160, Sport 190? Hell I dunno. From the looks of it, I believe the technical term is TOAST.

Lotus vehicles are not immune to the curse of the Prince of Darkness.

Now that we're getting a bit esoteric, why not go ***** to the wall and get a Noble M12 or M400? This would be my vehicle of choice if I were to replace Blubelle (my MCS).

Noble M400:

Interested?

Here's the USA distributor's site:

Man, I'd have to put it together myself, not complaining, for the pretty penny of over 70k, if I remember right and there's no secondhand market. I wouldn't mind a noble, it'd be awesome, but is it even street legal? I wonder how it is on a regular street though. I think it's a known fact it'll destroy cars on the track, but how fun would it be to drive around... Any Noble owners around?

Another possible negative is I'd be in a car war with my boss...and that ain't cool. At one point, he had over 7 cars, and we're not talking about cheap cars, we're talking Aston Martin Vanquish, Porsche Carrera GT, Aston Martin DB5, 60s Shelby Cobra, and the list continues. He ended up selling a bunch of his cars to buy a 250GTO. Anyways, you do see the problem.... I'd have to drive slower to let him win.

The Noble distributor for the US is only about 10 miles from my home. I occasionally see a M12 or M400 on the road (last one was seen around new year's). They are wicked fast, and I'm talking Ferrari Enzo territory, not F360 or F430'ville here. For the $$$ there is practically nothing that can hold a candle to a Noble. Even Damon Hill (1996 F1 World Champion) drives one.

Yeah, I know, that's why I'd have to try real hard to let my boss win. But then he's lose all respect for me, since we're talking about a man who keeps a racing helmet in his office...:impatient

hahahah, you don't know the half of it. When he moved into his new house, he had to get the driveway repaved so that his cars wouldn't bottom out.

Yes, they are street legal ... there is one signed up to compete in the ONELAP of America this year ... 4,000 road miles plus tracks, drag, dirt oval
