Are MINI drivers more ethical?

That is no doubt true. If you were lucky, your parents gave you good genes, loving support, and a safe, nurturing environment. Because of their careful guidance and shining example you know the difference between right and wrong, and you (almost) always do the right thing.

But what about when you don't? If Mom and Dad get the praise when you are a model citizen, can they also be blamed when you knowingly and willfully roll past a stop sign or drive your MINI faster than the legal speed limit?

If your honesty and integrity depend on how you were brought up, should we be putting the parents of criminals in jail?

No, I didn't indicate that, but I guess we should be profiling people behind the wheels of large automobiles. Channeling David Byrne: Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was.
