Honestly, if you need to haul 5 people (not four) and that is the primary purpose of the vehicle, a Minivan is the logical choice. The Toyota Sienna is really nice, and so is the new Nissan (as far as Minivans go).
I wouldn't want to go on a long trip with 4 other people without having a third row of seats.

What's the point? It still seats four. If you need to move people Element is a no go. If you need to move cargo and stuff, it's a good choice.

Actually....here's a wet dream for all of you......the Classic Mini came in ALL sort of versions.....I remember a wagon, a woodie wagon, a thing like the VW Thing as well....long wheel base platform, seats nothing else, not even a top....WOULDN'T THAT BE COOL???? I'd go get the wagon tomorrow afternoon. My A4 would be gone so fast its wheels wou;ld spin..........
