New Chevy Nomad...
...I can't put my finger on it but it design looks so familiar.

yeah moved as i replied, thought i was going crazy...
i think maybe the third shot of the series.. the far away view of the front lights and grill look MINI-ish, but the close up shot makes the lights look much different than the MINIs
It's kinda cool though, in the different-but-neat-i-wouldn't-own-it kinda way. it does, however, look a lot longer than it should be (maybe even phallic)

I think Chevy is churning out nice cars as of late. Have you guys seen the latest Chevy commercial featuring the all new C6 Corvette climbing on a car transporter truck? That car looks stunning. I love that commercial, specially when the Yellow Chevy SSR does a 360 degree high speed turn in the highway to climb in reverse aboard the truck transporter. I think this is the first worthwhile Chevy commercial in more than 20 years.
I owned a 55 Chevy Belair Hardtop for many years and restored it frame up completely. This Nomad looks nothing like a Nomad just as the GTO looks nothing like the new GTO. I realize its a different time and new technology is here. These were great cars of the day and I am sorry to say that unless you are going to resurect the car with the name of a classic legend and make it resemble it somewhat, then let them stay in our memories the way they were first produced. Just don't slap a name on a concept car and just call it a Nomad or a GTO....These Camaro and Corvette evoloved into what they were and are so that is different because they gradually changed with time. Just think amoment and remember the new Nova that Toyota put out in the early 90's?? What a shame. I rest my case.
