Yep they does. R50 or R53 MINI. Good catch! Too bad they aimed them cross eyed....

Kind of like Aston Martin using Miata inside door handles at one point. It's pretty cool to find your "down market" car's parts used on "up market" cars.

That isn't suprising since Ford owned Aston at one time and owns Mazda.

In the old days it was not unusual to see parts bin scrounging on all sorts of Brit cars. Nothing new here & there is for sure is other component sharing going on that is not as obvious.
