How Not to Drive Your Pickup
Hey, that's how my dad drives our company truck, no wonder the front end is allways smashed in. I don't know if i'm laughing right now because of the movie or because my mechanic just filled my office with ether. I think i'm gonna pass outtttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
Wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall for that conversation? (Bill Engvall fans will know exactly what I'm talking about!)
"Okay now Jimmy, what I want you do is, put the cruise control on the truck. Stay with me now Jimmy, stay with me..."
"Now I want you to put the cruise control on the truck, then just climb out on the hood and ride along...."
"Well allride, Bobby, but here hold my sign, I wouldn't want it to get bent!!"

But, I'll share this, because I thought it couldn't be done (or is that dumb?) This picture is from the US Navy's Safety Center website

my mom's friend did that when the two families were on vacation together. my dad pumped the gas and she jumped in to drive. well, she's not really all there and she didn't check to see if my dad put the pump back. I think my dad's quote was "what's all that banging"
the pulled over a couple miles down to find the trigger and hose dangling from the van. my dad then threw it in the bushes and drove off as fast as possible.
Saw a guy do the "Gas Pump Mod" two weeks ago. He was jabbering away on his cellular, and drove away with the hose and handle hanging out the side of his truck. I was parked right next to him...man am I glad they have those handy "break away" hoses!
