If you like flying cars with wings then don't settle for just one engine.

Watch out someone is on your tail!!!

I love Petter Solberg. He's awesomely quick and brave on the World Rally circuit. He just has so much personality and enthusiasm. It's infectious. You should have seen him after he won the championship this year. He went so nuts that he did not finish his TV interview and celebrated with his teammates and his Norwegian worshipers. He's my new favorite WRC driver, now that Richard Burns has a brain tumor. Get well soon Richard !!!!

Very cool, Dave!

Thanks for the pics!! After a year and a half, I traded my 02 Cooper for an 02 silver WRX... they are both great cars, and when I take a fast corner now, I do miss the Cooper's go-cart handling sometimes, but the WRX comes really close and with more practice on my part I think will out-perform.. no question that most drivers can jump in a MINI with no practice and corner really well. It's just designed to do it. I love both cars, but the WRX is the car for me. The WRX slogan of "it's not the power you have, but the power you have in reserve" says it all.

thanks, I will continue to visit and offer my 2 cents occasionally.

I am still very much a MINI enthusiast, though no longer a MINI owner at present...

DiD: Some of us are starting to make side bets as to when you will announce the replacement of your MINI with a WRX. . . . .

If my current mileage is a factor in your guess, my MINI will have more than 40,000 miles on it by the end of this year.

I don't consider the STI or the EVO VIII for that matter rice - the wings they have are functional and an OEM item. Put that wing on an '88 Civic or Accord, and yeah, it gets ricey.

Every time I see an STI...makes me think of what could be...

I saw a Black STI with the gold BBS wheels last Friday in our little blizzard. Sweet - made me feel like a loser driving my wife's Volvo XC70 (which is no slouch in the snow)
