2009 CSCS Sport Compact Season Opener

Last weekend I went to the track near Toronto... Saw a bunch of sport compacts and a bikini contest! Yay for the bikini contest LOL, there were a couple of nice cars, a few exotics too. Lotta people broke on the line, but no one leaked. Check out the pics!

Rest of the pics...

I looked at all the pics in the link... Some of those cars look ridiculous with huge front tires and skinny rear ones. Someone even had a wheely bar on a FF car. Most of the cars were pretty badass though. The ladies weren't half bad.

What exactly is compact about the new GTR? That thing is huge!

I still dont understand the connection between tuner cars and girls...

Well... You'd agree that we like cars... and, I think you'd also agree that most of us tend to like pretty girls. So, put the two together and.. BAM!

Better traction off the line for the huge front wheels. And, when you take off in a FWD car, what happens? The front of the car lifts and the rear pushes down. So, what happens to the wheels in the front aht drive the car. Not a lot of traction. A wheelie bar on a FWD drag car is perfectly legit. It just helps keep the front of the car planted to get more traction.
