I need an outside opinion. The first set are DPE's and the black set are BBS CH's with a blue time attack ring. The third photo is the color of my car. And btw...my car is already being styled like the first pic..

The BBS's.

Depends on whether you want classy or intimidating though.

I like the intimidating look of the BBS's. On a de-chromed car, especially dark, black rims say power and handling.

Brushed or chromed, huge rims with rubber band tires always look ghetto to me. Put tires profiled 40 or more on, and you get something classy though.

It just depends on what look you're going for.

I agree. They're two different types of looks.

It's a tough decision as they're both nice looking wheels. I think my vote would be for the DPEs though.

Thank you for all your opinions. I was going for the DPE's but when I saw the BBS's in black I was all over it. Or I could go for silver BBS's like this one (its actually the same car)....price for the DPE's are about 2K more...

Unfortunately no.... The cars are from members of www.europrojektz-world.com . I just have to sit back and drool. Here is a ride I could NEVER afford. This is the car of the club pres. Its actually a 325 with a custom widebody. Well...custom everything... Sik! I have to win the lotto to do that to the car...

What about LM's? If not, I'd go with the CH's. That had always been one of my all time favorite wheels.

BBS without a doubt. The rubber-band look on the DPEs doesn't do anything for me. In this price range though, I'd be looking at Fikse's or CCWs. There were not many fitments available for my M Coupe. CCW will do custom offsets, whatever you want...

My vote is for the black BBS's. They look so mean, and I like the little touch of blue color to tie them into your car's paint, (provided they're close in hue...)

Full disclosure: I am admittedly biased towards black wheels

Im officially done with modding the Mini as soon as I get my CF parts cleared and installed. Im moving onto the BMW. Im going to run the BBS CH's then a little later black them and everything else out. I might come back to the Mini but not for the next year or so. Its been fun...

Those BBS rims are gorgeous. BBS looks more classy and refined.

Any special plans for brake upgrades, or at least painting the stock calipers?

I'm a big fan of BBS' on Bimmers. And with the CSL look, you're kinda obligated aren't you?! Either way, I'm interested to see what you've got in store for us. What's happening to the Mini though?
