I am in the process of purchasing a JCW Mini. I am just wondering how many of you own a Corvette.

Nice C6 you have there! I can't justify only two seats, so I have Pontiac's four seat version of the vette.
Mine certainly isn't as fast as yours, but it's not stock and moves out very well. Jumping in a RWD convertible with the sound and torque of a V8 propelling you seems to make the rest of the world just disappear...

Is it a Lingenfelter twin-turbo setup?
We are the original owners of a '91 Corvette. It's been a great car! The Bose speakers are crap, the a/c pooped out from lack of use and was repaired, but otherwise, it's a great car.
Nice....I know my Vette colors...is that custom? Nice.

Nope, stock paint. Just one of the better pics I have of it. That was acutally before I did paint it.
Now the lower rear fascia is flat black and it has the Grand Sport hash marks on the driver side in flat black as well. I'll have to post a pic later.

I sold my C5 (2003) this summer and bought a pair of cars to replace it: a 2004 MINI JCW and a 2006 350Z roadster.
The MINI is a great everyday car - nothing bothers it - weather, rough roads (it's stock height), etc - and it's much easier to get around town while still being able to pull away from just about everything on the highway too. Previously I tried to use the Vette as a daily driver, but it was a pain to maneuver, and the shifting (all my cars are manuals) was much more of a chore.
I miss the Vette though - nothing like the sound of a V8 at idle, and the feel of being pressed into your seat as you go from 30 to 70. The 350Z doesn't even come close on either front. It is MUCH easier to work on though without the whole torque tube thing to worry with when working on the drivertrain. Basically, the 350Z is great for teaching my wife to drive stick with because it's just a 2 hr job to change out the clutch once she gets the hang of it.
Maybe then I'll go back to another Vette. Or perhaps a Camaro now that it has an Independent Rear Suspension. But there's no way I'll be giving up on MINIs any time soon. I can't think of anything that could possibly replace it for "exhuberant" daily driving.

I suppose I sort of have a Vette. When my daughter died, she left behind a 1987 Black Vette. Only has 13000 miles on it. It's still sitting in a drivway somewhere in NJ. As you may be able to tell, owning one provides me no thrill.

85 w/ 32k miles. Took this pick day i took it in a few years ago. Since then not much has changed. I love the early 80's look and want to keep it stock looking. Added GS wheels, and tint. Planning to remove spoiler as im not a fan of spoilers on vettes, just havent got around to it.

I have a 1981 Coupe. It was one of the first cars to come out of Bowling Green. It's Silver and Charcoal, has a 350HP crate motor installed in 2004.
In 1981 all solid color cars were built in St.Louis and two tone cars were built in Bowling Green. I don't have a way to send photos, sorry. I've owned several Corvettes over the last 40 years as they are like MINIS, can't live with out them.

Sold my 01 C5 Coupe...
Sold my heavily modded 01 C5 Coupe last summer before moving back to Texas from WA. My intention was to later buy an 09 MCS, which I did. Honestly, much happier with my 09 MCS. I don't miss the Vette even though I had it for almost seven years [2nd owner].

BTW, here is my wife's little toy.

Here is my fun daily driver.

Motor on!
