What makes a great car? Take the most basic model and see how it makes you feel. Having my car in for service I have a BMW 328 w/steptronic for the weekend and I have to say it is a great car. In its pure form BMW 3 series is the Ultimate Driving Machine. No need for premium or sports pkgs a basic 3 series is just fun to drive. Shift into Dynamic sport mode and acceleration from the 3.0 inline six is smooth and it just wants to keep going. Handling w/o sports suspension is on par or even better than cars costing more. I would seriously consider getting one if BMW didnt offer the 135 or 335. to BMW!

Side note I had chance to drive my buddies 2008 M3 Sedan that he just broke in and this car is amazing. The V8 sounds awesome under acceleration really didnt get to try handling but the short drive I had makes me want one. But alas I have to settle with a non ///M but based on my drive with the 328 either 135 /335 will make do.........for now decisions......decisions.
