97 Accord: Seeking pricing advice

As soon as I get my MINI (approx 4 more weeks) I will sell my 97 Accord. It has 220k miles on it and I don't know how to price it: other listings I have seen don't have so many miles and online places seem to stop at lower number of miles. Also, the past week it has been exhibiting what I suspect are transmission problems: when it is changing gears (automatic) if I rev too much it doesn't change gears and acts like it is in neutral (revs loudly, RPMs go up, etc.). If I back off the accelerator and accelerate gradually it will change gears ok, but it causes a little trouble on a freeway going uphill. I wish the problem could have waited another month!

Here's the deets:

97 Accord EX (4 cyl, cloth seats)
Heather mist (between silver and gold)
Automatic
No extra stuff except 6 disc CD changer in trunk.

Shape:
Except for the aforementioned problem, I think it is in reasonably good mechanical shape. I had the timing belt changed a couple years ago and I have been changing oil regularly - between 3k and 5k, but usually closer to 3k. It has needed very few mechanical repairs. I am the original owner.
Physically: it has more than it's share of dings, scrapes, and dents. None are horrendous but there are dents, I want to be up front about that.

If anyone has pricing advice for me, I'd love to hear it. Also, do you think I need to fix this transmission problem before selling it? I'm not going to try to pull anything over on anyone - I will be up front about that.

Thanks!
Tony

ps - I live in the SF bay area
pps - if this is not appropriate for NAM then I apologize. I did look in the FAQ and the Site Guidelines; I don't think this makes me a "Vendor". Although if anyone on NAM is interested in buying the car I wouldn't turn them away, this is intended primarily to gather information so I can better determine a price.

For pricing, go to www.kbb.com or www.edmunds.com. They'll help, and will handle higher mileage too. Just follow the instructions/descriptions.

For the tranny, you might double check the fluid level or try changing the transmission fluid. That won't cost too much, and may take care of the problem.

Good luck
