I saw that in the paper last week. Yeah, it goes underwater, but it's open!! You get soaked!!!

In America, there are people stupid enough (yes, even people who could afford that car) whose families would sue becuse their idiot loved one drove the car into a lake and drowned because they didn't realize that they needed to arrange for some underwater breathing apparatus. Also in America, there are plenty of lawyers who would take up the case, and there are juries who would find the carmaker liable.

 

yes I agree with you on those points...

like the one I heard recently... a lady won a lawsuit against winebago (sp) cause she put the vehicle on cruise and got up to make a sandwhich, and the sales person and manual never said she couldn't get up while on cruise.
something like $4 Million
