BMW 330i: HELP!

Scenario:

2004 330i MFSW w/Bluetooth that seems factory-programmed to Verizon. (02/2004 build-date, if that matters)

Current phone service is Cingular.

Is it possible to change the factory-programmed service from Verizon to Cingular? How?

Manuals that came with the car aren't very helpful (no big surprise there!) and don't want to deal with the dealership if at all possible.

Links to website instructions would be great (if they exist!).

Thanks in advance!

No, nothing has happened to Schultze, thank goodness!

A co-worker has the BMW 330i and would like to be able to use the bluetooth system. The manuals are useless...waste of paper!

I asked a couple techs at work today, and from what they say the service provider can't be changed. They both looked at me kinda funny when I asked them about it.

I told them the 02/2004 build date and they said the Bluetooth probably doesn't work in the car anyway.

Apparently, there is a kit that can be installed in the vehicle to enable the Bluetooth, but the phone selection would be somewhat limited, and the phone button is actually no longer available.

Thanks for checking, Partsman.

My co-worker was impressed with the fact that Schultze has bluetooth via the MFSW...AND that I installed the Parrot eVo myself. I wonder if Mike (the Parrot eVo vendor) has a harness that's compatible with the 330i MFSW.

Guess I'll email him later this morning and ask!
