Latest thing attracting my attention
Some of you may have noticed my posts and threads ad nauseum contemplating a replacement for my 05 MCSCa. Here is the latest thing that is drawing away my attention

Speedwing, the 135 looks interesting but I'd prefer it in a hatch (if I couldn't get it in a convertible which is what I crave to continue to have).
Any more thoughts on this beast?

Big power, incredible handling and a top that drops, what's not to like? I also like the color combo but I've always been a sucker for a red interior. The ownership cost of the M will be higher, ins, service, tires, mods but that part of the game. If it was me I'd prefer the coupe M3 as it is a bit stiffer but I can easily see the attraction of the convt. Quite a step up from the MCS.

Aren't they releasing a convertible version of the 1 series? I could be imagining things.

looks like a plan.
but if there's really nothing wrong with your car,
not sure why you would want to replace with another vert?

Decided against it. Thing could go when I test drove it though. The SMG was interesting in theory but was just too jerky for my tastes in reality.

i hear you still need to give it some throttle input to get a smooth shift
from those SMG's.
anyway, i would keep your MCS at least until it's out of warranty and
starting to show some wear.

Roger than Ken, now that I'm actually able to drive it again I'm happier with it - at least until I try to get out my door that's broke again
