Cars and Coffee 616

This is just a selection of the goodies on display today.....

First up a minty MR2 with an almost perfect mix of old and new

Then not one, nor two, but THREE of these things

somehow I believe the licence plate

Sitting next to these 'brute force and ignorance' yankie things was possibly the nearest thing to perfection I have ever seen

Having eventually left my new love, I decided to take a wander around

How about an E-Type ?

or a Ferrari ?

or an RS200

my new wallpaper

erm

A few more random ones

out on a limb perhaps- but this is really ugly

more BMW love

Possibly the second best thing there - after the first BMW

nice 'rod'

Can anyone find anything wrong with this ? Other than the fact that I do not own it ?

Tied for second with teh Splitty

*sigh

erm......

Love/Hate ?

This looks like it could get a little interesting

need a closer look ?

so wrong it's right ?

more Nawz....

Never seen a Corvair in the metal before - lovely looking thing and rather interesting too

All about the Stance ?

Stealth M5

More older tin

Just when you thought it was safe ?

More Dub Luv......

Just look at that stance

This sounded evil and went rather well too

Finally a lovely old Lotus

Enjoy.......

ps. all the rest are in the usual place - http://cncpics.com/

M

ps those are the car pics - this is the coffee pic

The Bugatti Veyron

"out on a limb perhaps- but this is really ugly"

But that thing is insanely fast. Here, see for yourself. Or Season 7, Disc 3 of Top Gear.

A nice collection of Loti.

But you just HAD to have pics of two of my most favorite cars:

The Jag XK-E and the Ferrari Dino.

Sterling Moss once said of the XK-E: "The greatest crumpet collector known to man."

The old Studebaker was nice, my Granddad used to have one when I was a kid.

Fun shot of the WWII VW Schwimmwagen!

Some really incredible cars show up there. The BMW 2002 tii (?) is way cool. The notchback is nice. When you look at the back view of the Studebaker, the black Mercedes to the right is much like what I grew up with.

Thanks again for sharing, you lucky dog.

a 2002 TTii- wow that's rare (if real) I love how they had to curve the initials down the back as they ran out of room. I also saw a VW type III Ghia in the background- also very rare. It looks like they moved you to larger lot in the middle so I guess the show has out grown the shaded lot.

The old Caddy Eldorado Biarritz was a very expensive car to buy and build. The body was hand made at Pinin-Farina and flown to Detroit for final assembly. Some of the accesories were a record player in the dash power everything (this was 1957) cut crystal decantors and glasses in the back seat mini-bar and a sterling make up kit with the Caddy crest engraved for the lady. That thing has Harly Earle all over it.

I personally would like to see a shootout between the Vette and what I'm assuming was a bottle fed Shelby GT500. Throw the Supra in there to face the winner. And then that winner has to bow to the Esprit.
