How to find wheel weight - non-MINI
I am trying to find the weight of a 15X10 Cragar SS and an American Racing Torq Thrust, both in chrome or polished. I cannot find this info anywhere, including their websites or the wheel weight databases online. Anyone happen to have a resource with this info?
The 15x10 American Racing Torque Thrust D's on my friends Chevy weigh a couple of ounces short of 20lbs.
The 15x6's on the front are just over 16lbs.
I called him to ask about the Cragers and he said that they are a little heavier but does not have the exact numbers.

I cannot help you with that, he has a friend with some but no specs on the weight.
15x10's on a trike ???
wibble......
Yeah, 15's are standard on trikes. It came with 14X7s, but they are too skinny for my taste. I asked around on a trike forum (yes, trike forums exist
) and found a few people who had 15X10 and said they were good - no problem incurred with the extra width which is what I was afraid of. I also wanted to add a little bit more width to the stance, and these should do it.
I actually found a guy with tires that were 17" wide in the back with a 2 ltr porsche engine in the back, but he said that 17" was too wide and it had bad understeer. Totally different beast though, here is a pic:
