Trackmasters goes MINI at Laguna
Now here's an event! If you're going to venture out in the winter, do it at a world class track with an organization that appreciates MINIs and their drivers at a great price! Why pay more for Thunderhill when you can run Laguna Seca for less??

Greetings MINI Drivers,
This is a quick note to inform you that TrackMasters Racing will be hosting a track event at Laguna Seca on Monday, January 8th. I know this isn't the most ideal time of the year, but very few clubs have received dates during the first half of the 2007 season, so we had to take what we could get.
The good news is that any fear of marginal weather conditions shouldn't scare any of you MINI drivers off with your FWD traction - right? The last cars on track at a 'wet' Laguna date earlier this year were the front and all wheel drive cars - they had the track to themselves for about 2 hours during the afternoon! We had to kick them off so everyone could go home and dry out! We could also have a stretch of clear sky weather like we've seen the past week. That would even be better!
Anyway, here is our situation for this event...
Our run group on Sunday, Jan 7th is already sold out. However, we do still have plenty of spaces in Advanced, Intermediate, and Novice on Monday the 8th. Novice drivers will have instructors, so if you're new to all this, then there's no need to be anxious.
To sweeten the pot, TMR will discount the standard entry fee of $275 to $260 for MINI drivers between today and the end of next week.(12/15/06) If we fill the event (it's already over half full) then your fees will also include lunch for the day! (we already include breakfast)

Also, whether you decide to attend or not, PLEASE forward this note to other drivers, and post it on any of the Mini Forums you may participate in. We need to fill this in one week!

Jerry this event on Jan 8 sounds like a good deal. It was fun seeing you and Bonnie from TEAM at Thunderhill yesterday and meeting Doug the organizer for Track-Masters. He is a cool guy and runs a good event. I'm going to see if I can make it. Laguna is such a great track.
