$400.00 was the going price but Randy should confirm. As far as night and day, it's more like night and dawn. That is just a pulley, you'll need to do a few more things to get the most out of the engine, intake, exhaust, chip, etc. But is is a great first mod.

Go to Vendor Announcements and Randy has explained and/or given his reason for his final trip around the US for Pulley parties. + as a young family "IT" had to be hard to be gone all the time!! WE will miss his smiling face .....even at 3am when he is finishing up my car.
I will see him at BBM...if for no other reason than to give him a hug.... Ya got give him an A+ for his dedication to the MINI world.
Randy.....................

Only 2....... but only after he has completed everyones cars.....wouldn't do to have parts go in "updside down 'n backwards"
I think a going away...as it were....is a great idea. Any thoughts as to what kind of "gift" we should give him???? All our old parts...!!?? T-shirt with all our autographs...... any thoughts out there? Anyone

Would this be the 5th, or 6th Bay Area Pulley Party? I've lost track! I organized the first, and have attended them all, and will continue to do so... Just to hang-out, and chat though.

Glad I can catch the last party, just signed in.

I also have a HDI box order from them, placed 20 days ago and still waiting, seems it takes forever for them to get inventory back.

Katmeho,

I think since he has you down for 2pm Sunday, you're set. I would worry if your name disappears from the schedule.

Hey guys, I PMd Randy but figure he's busy as I haven't heard back yet. Can anyone confrim the price for the pulley and install and is there an option for brand (and does that matter)?

Eval,

The cost is $400 for the Alta or M7. I am getting the M7 16% installed this time around.

The brand does not matter... most are either manufactured by the same comapny or at least copies... The 16% M7 or Alta, WMS, Mini Mania, or Cravenspeed 15% are all pretty equivalent. Randy instructs people to stay away from the 17% pullies. If you ever get a crank pulley too, you are likely better off with the 15% pulley unless you intend to get an alternator pulley in the future too.

Yep. There's even a "wait list" of sorts. You can see the details here:

The final schedule is on page 8 of the thread.

Is the body kit installed for the run on Saturday?

If thee gods wish it... I would like to get the H-Sport springs installed this weekend.

Aero Kit is still sitting in my living room... need to get someone to help me install it and coordinate the clearbra install immediately after for minimal damage risk. Plus, (now) I want the car lowered before/by time the kit gets put on - strictly for aesthetics.

After all of the above (and everything in my sig ), it's just new wheels & tires. But my bank account tells me it will be quite some time before we can get those.

installing aero kit is not very difficult..I haven't done sideskirts, but taken my front and rear bumper off a lot..and did my aero grille on the last mini. Its all pretty straight forward

I second that. The aero kit was pretty easy to install, sideskirts require removing the tabs underneath then ripping them off the car. should also put the car on ramps makes it easier. let me know if you need help.
