Although I invited the new guy from work ('cause he's so new to the area) I kind of agree with Glenn on keeping our rides to MINIs. We post on NAM because we all have and love MINIs. I don't mind an occasional visitor, but I certainly don't want to see our fun runs turn into competitions with other brands.
As for tomorrow, if there are a lot of "other" cars, we can always split the group up - it seems like there will be an abundance of attendees, so we may very well be able to (and want to) subdivide.
I wouldn't worry about competition. I ran with 4 Subarus and had a blast. It's about enthusiasm for driving..... I just put some different struts on my Mini. If I hadn't gotten the car close to level, I would have showed in my Mustang! But I hope I have the dampeners set close to something workable, or it's gonna be a long ride.
Yes! What a blast! Thanks Nikki for setting this up. Kudos to the goldcountry crew for coming all the way out. I think we gave all the people stuck on 92W a reason to smile when we motored by.
i missed u guys by ten minutes! well at least that's what some guy said from the parking lot. well i guess that's simply my fault for having too much fun the night before. glad everyone else had fun though. i'll definitely be looking forward to the next one. please post more pics so i at least know what i missed out on
