Headed to Richmond, CA next week, flying into SF Intn'l anyone know of a company to rent a Mini while I'm there preferably at the airport, not sure if I can go a whole week sans Mini....

I rented a car from these guys last year when we visited and they were pretty good. Looks like now they have MINIS including convertible.

Have fun, I lived there once and think it's most beautiful city in US and as soon as I win the FL Lotto I am moving back (because that's what it takes to afford a home there) :smile:

 

Thanks. As I suspected, a bit pricey. I'm going for work, tentively have a car rented through budget, and the daily rate on the mini is about half the weekely rate on a whatever from Budget, there is no way I can swing that on my expense report......that is if I want a job to return to in Toronto.

I have travelled often to San Francisco over the past couple of years to visit my grandaughters (2.5 and 0.5 yrs. old). I thought it would be neat to motor around SF and my usual ride down to visit an old pal in Santa Cruz. But, the Mini is still considered a specialty car and when I checked into rentals I too was shocked by the daily rental fees. What a disappointment having to drive California in a Ford Focus instead of a Mini!
