So, my MINI is my second car. I was [and still am] in love with my '84 Fiero. I belong to a great Fiero forum, and through it I have had the opportunity to go on some great runs.
This past November I went on the Coast Run... from San Simeon up to Carmel and back on Highway 1. LOTS of fun twisties on the coast. We even met a CHP officer, who was totally cool about our run.
he even told us about some speed traps that were going to be on our route.
I've also done the Rally through the Valley last May. We met at San Juan Bautista. Down Highway 25 to 198 and then the group split, with myself and a couple others going back up on 101, and the crazies taking Carmel Valley Road. [VERY twisty]

both of those roads test your car's suspension and turning ability. of course, I had fun. Fieros tend to stick to the road pretty well... and I can't wait to try them in my new MINI with the DSC. [while being a responsible driver, of course]
[fiero forum thread on the rally... after the fact: http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Archives/A...-1-041131.html]
just some suggestions...
