We are talking late Saturday early Sunday. I think whoever gets there should do exactly as Lyle does and pop the bonnet and turn the lights on just so we can all find it.... might make a pretty cool picture also
Everything is still on for this weekend, the 6/7. The route is planned out, We will find a parking lot after the run to chat and see if anybody else wants to do more. Hopefully It doesn't rain.
sounds good. I am looking forward to it. There should be a few Gold Country Mini folks that should be coming... I cannot wait! It should be a great time. I will bring my camera and tripod for some group photos.
Hey guys, we're getting closer to the run!!!! I wanted to get an estimate of how many people are gunna make the run. So if you can make it for sure just reply with your name on this thread. Thanks
I'll be there. Just sent out an email to the GCM folks as a reminder. I'll bring my two way radio and the camera/tripod. Oh, my two way radio suck. They're the replacement radio for the ones I lost. There is no sub channel. I guess I am going to have to go buy some new ones today eh? Hmm....
Im 90% sure I will be there, as long as nothing nutty happens and I have to work too late! Can you post the route you have planned out, I cant wait for this, I love driving through the city in the middle of the night
I'm going to be there. I'm coming from Fremont tonight. I live in Sacto so I will try to hook up with GoldCountryMini on the way in to The City. This sounds like it might be the best MINI run yet.
Alright guys, looks like we've got six plus cars. Jason and I will have our search lights on so you can find us. The route will start out of course on Highway one, and we will cruise through the presidio and then out to Lombard street, and eventually end up going down the crookedist street in the world. Then on to the KOIT tower, to Embarcadero and Broadway. Through the Broadway tunnell and then some. I can't remember where else cause the map is in the glove box, but if anybody knows of any great spots bring your two-way radios. See ya soon.
