I am new to this forum but have been into cars for years and was very active in the mr2 community. Please be patient if I don't respond to PMs right away, I will try to check them often, but this is not a site that is in my habitual rotation.

It is a sad day for me as I am going to be selling my wife's 2005 Mini Cooper Convertible John Cooper Works. This car is in great shape. I purchased it for her last year as it was her dream car. We now have kids on the way and she needs something bigger. I would like to see this go to another Mini enthusiast who will take care of it.

We are the second owners (the first owner was my fathers stock broker - he paid about $50k for the car in 2005). This car has never been wrecked. All service has been done by Mini. The catalytic converter was replaced under warranty about 6 months ago, front and rear brakes were done 5 months ago, and it had new tires put on about 3 months ago. The convertible top was replaced under warranty by mini about 2 years ago.

This car comes with many extras. It has the John Cooper Works package and it a blast to drive. It has a built in radar/laser detector with sensors in teh front and rear bumper and display LEDs in the dash. You would never know it was installed until you hear it go off. It has a remote paging alarm and aftermarket tinted windows that were done about a year ago and carry a full lifetime warranty. The tint is 5% in the rear and 35% in the front. The wheels are aftermarket and were installed by Mini for the original owner, they are black chrome.

The car has premium Harmon Kardon Sound, power windows and door locks, 6-speed transmission, fog lights, etc. It has been professionally detailed twice a year while we have owned it.

The car has 52,000 miles on it.
