Magical Mystery Mini Tour Sept 5-7
CAR WASH Signups
MMMT will have a car washing vendor at Treasure Island. It will cost $25 for an external car wash. In order to make sure they have enough crew members there, we ask that you sign up on the MMMT website. You don't not have to select a time and this is just to get general numbers. There is a button to click on the tool bar at the top of the welcome page www.magicalmysteryminitour.com
We will also be looking for a volunteer with the dirtiest, most faded, scratched MINI to provide your MINI for detailing demonstrations. Ben will do demos about every 2 hours and would like to have a MINI that "really needs help". This will not cost the volunteer anything and he may end up with a clean, beautiful, shiny MINI

very geeked ;)
I can't wait, either! So geeked to attend and meet & visit with so many other Mini-MINI owners who love their car like I do
Also, just to chime in on the earlier conversation, I agree with Kreative - I can't imagine how much work and effort this has taken the ones who've spent so much of their own free time arranging this entire event. Kuddos to you all. I help run my family business, and just arranging the details for our annual customer appreciation day / tractor show takes effort and input from almost all of my 26+ employees. So, once again, thanks so much for trying your best to satisfy everyone's needs and requests.
(Having to work with our local tractor club a couple years back to arrange our show together, I completely understand where you came from, mini pooper, with your initial response. I didn't receive it as harsh... I felt for ya'll after what we went through on a much smaller scale here trying to get our local tractor club to help out with any of the arrangements, yet monetary costs, that were necessary to offer an organized event. They cut off future cooperation with us after attempting to advise them of all the costs that we alone put out , after receiving a comment from them that we didn't advertise enough... they just had no idea what was involved in all the arrangements, and decided it wasn't worth their while to do 1/4 of the work and expect us to put out even more money in future years... they even had the nerve to let us know they did not condone us using our company name in addition to their club name in the advertising. What?! So, long story short, I understand.)

Hi everyone.... it's a real count down!
I wanted to remind everyone to bring their club name tags and club swag and wear them proudly! About 45% of the total number of participants are REME members or member's spouses. Let's show the world how REME throws a party!
Consider this REME giving back to the Mini-MINI community. We have participants coming from all-corners of the US, Canada, Asia, & Europe. I know I don't need to say this, but I want to remind every REME member to be at their very best; being ambassadors to this wonderful world community, with REME representing the majority of active Northern California Mini-MINI Enthusiasts!
Norm is already in San Francisco (or will be this morning) and so are a handful of out-of-state and international participants. I should be there by 11 am tomorrow morning. I hope to see everyone there. Remember, it's not too late to participate. If you are not registered, you can register for during the event. There will be limited supplies of both club and event swag available at the registration booth. Some of the better represented clubs will also bring their club swag to sell at their booths.
THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN!

Wow what a weekend! What an event! Thank you to all that helped make this a huge success by attending and supporting the Northern California Mini-MINI Community
.
With all the runs and off-site activities, there was no way to easily determine how successful this was until the cars starting filling up the parking lot for the banquet dinner Saturday night followed by the live concert by the Sun Kings.
We have an unofficial count of over 350 cars in the parking lot in the early evening, but the lot continued to fill after dark during the concert. There was no evening fog and just slight cool breeze making the San Francisco skyline a sparkling backdrop for the band.
Over $7000 worth of merchandise and services were awarded as door prizes during the banquet dinner, between sets at the concert, and on Sunday morning just before the Santa Cruz Mountains run. If you missed the Magical Mystery Mini Tour, you truly missed a one of a kind event!
