Well we finally did it! After months of talking about it we went out and ordered our Mini Cooper from Niello BMW. We ordered a PW/B with Premium and Sport package, and Black/silver gray cloth interior. Once arrived we will also be darkening the back three windows, so our pooch won't fry in the back. We are so excited! We got one of the last slots for September so we are looking at a late October early November delivery date. Anyone else out there purchase their Mini through Niello? The experience was pain free for us. We live in Yuba City so it is only 40 miles away. Anyway I am looking forward to the new driving adventure and hopefully running in to some of you great folks. We also have a Toyota Tundra so going back and forth between the two will be fun. I think we could actually put the Mini in the bed of the truck if needed. Ha Ha. Niello, that's Sacto's dealer, right? I'll be in the area in December. Do you know if the dealer has any exclusive MINI Niello stuff?

Did you get your MINI at MSRP? The only CA dealer I've heard who sells at MSRP is Eastbay and I think Long Beach.

Now's the fun part...tracking the progress of your MINI on MINIUSA.com Don't forget once it's loaded you can track it as it's loaded onto the ship and track the ship itself. You'll need to log onto the ship carrier's and US Coast Guard's websites.

 

I am not sure if they have any exclusive Niello Mini stuff, but I will check it out for you. Yes, they are located in Sacramento on Fulton Avenue. We paid $995 over MSRP. We felt that was not too bad since they threw in a bunch of goodies. I have heard of people paying up to $2,500 over MSRP so I am not complaining.

I cannot wait to start tracking our cars progress. This is one reason we ordered one instead of buying on the lot. I have always bought vehicles on the lot and this is a new experience. As you can guess we are very excited. Thanks for your note.

 

And as you track your MINIs progress, don't forget to do a print out each time it changes...makes good historical data.

Congratulations! I live in downtown Sacramento and bought my Mini from Niello one year ago off the showroom floor.
I've had a good experience with them. I've taken it in for a couple minor fixes and a service over the past year - they're service department has been great.
Again, congrats and enjoy your Mini... you have the evil twin of mine!
