Taking Mini in for service
Taking Mini in for service
Hello,
Can anyone tell me if MOMV or EBMini offer Mini loaners while mine is in for service? Last I heard, MOMV was using Enterprise, but any clarification would help. Thanks much!

Don't know about EB but MOMV does give you an Enterprise rental which is just right next door inside the BMW dealership. Don't expect anything good though. I ended up with a Mitsubishi Lancer. It wasn't the current one but prob 1-2 generations before. It really made me appreciate my MINI more...I had to drive slower than usual cause it felt like the suspension was gonna bottom out everytime I took a turn.
Just got a loaner from MoMV today. It was Enterprise (Chevy Cobalt). No MINIs in sight. And I agree with the previous poster. Being put in one of these cars that seem a couple generations old with little power and no amenities really makes you appreciate your own car that much more.
Typically you get a loaner if the service takes more than a certain time... I think it's 2 hours at MOMV. Less than 2 hours and they won't give you a loaner. Best to call ahead and check so you can plan out your rides.
