Does anyone here know a good place to get windows tinted?? I am going to have it done this week, but I have no clue as to where to start looking... thanks in advance.

 

There is a local fellow who is suppose to be good and he's mobile but he charges close to $300 for three windows on the cooper. He uses some good tint, etc. I was going to have him do the xpel on ours but since have changed my mind. I might still have him tint the windows but no desire right at the moment.

Jason, how many windows you planning on doing? I have a buddy that quoted me 275 for all. I'll call him and confirm if you like, he's in SSF though.

Is custom car alarm the same guys who were in S.F. and might still be in S.F.? If so, back in the 80's and part of the 90's they were The Ones to get your stereo and alarm systems purchased and installed at.

Had mine done at Auto Mall Tint Factory. I paid $165.00 for the three rear windows, took about an hour. I chose the Suntek Infinity OP and had the darkest tint (10%) done. Looks great.

Had mine done today at Custom Car Alarms.. they did a very good job, all 5 for $280. 5% on the back 3 and 50% up front (stupid laws!). Looks awesome. Ill post some pics but I gotta wash the filth off my car first.

 

Did you go to the one in SF or Pleasant Hill? How come is $280? It should be no more than $260...

I went to pleasant hill... the extra $20 didnt bother me.... dunno why, I told him I was a part of NorCalMINIs AND he saw the decal on the back of my car.

 

Yeap, but not to the MINI, I have a Nav system and sound system installed to my SUV by them. :D

 

Did you ask for Ninh? I just talked to him on Tue for the price. And he told me $250 - $260...... anyway let me double check with him. :D

I don't think they will refund the $20, but thank you for understanding, I just don't want to give out wrong info :p
