Andretti Winery founded in 1996 by Mario Andretti and his longtime friend Joe Antoni (former CEO and chairman of Kmart Corporation), is dedicated to celebrating the Italian lifestyle, complete with the finest wines created anywhere in the world.

I have set up a new web page to make online payments easier using PayPal or to download registration forms and event brochures and run maps as they are developed.

For most NorCal members, this won't need to include hotel costs. Three days of fun right here in the Bay Area. Hotel group rate packages expire July 5th.

Events will include a group package by the San Francisco Giants for Friday nights game, live evening music on Treasure Island. Saturday morning drive across the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin Headlands, Nike missile site, a stop atop Mt. Tam, Olema, Fairfax. Saturday afternoon will have priviate tours & tasting at the Andretti Winery and Gloria Ferrer. Saturday evening will have our Sunset BBQ dinner, then live concert, featuring the Beatles tribute band, "The Sun Kings".
Sunday morning will begin with a bonfire and beach breakfast on Ocean Beach, followed by "The Steve McQueen Memorial Run" through the streets of San Francisco. Sunday afternoon will be the Santa Cruz Mountain Run.
We will have a large "Main Event" Tent with some "infamous" racing Mini Coopers on display, vendor village, frisbee contest, face painting, and lots more.

Come join us and enjoy the weekend with all your Mini friends.

 

Wow what a weekend! What an event! Thank you to all that helped make this a huge success by attending and supporting the Northern California Mini-MINI Community .

With all the runs and off-site activities, there was no way to easily determine how successful this was until the cars starting filling up the parking lot for the banquet dinner Saturday night followed by the live concert by the Sun Kings.

We have an unofficial count of over 350 cars in the parking lot in the early evening, but the lot continued to fill after dark during the concert. There was no evening fog and just slight cool breeze making the San Francisco skyline a sparkling backdrop for the band.

Over $7000 worth of merchandise and services were awarded as door prizes during the banquet dinner, between sets at the concert, and on Sunday morning just before the Santa Cruz Mountains run. If you missed the Magical Mystery Mini Tour, you truly missed a one of a kind event!

This was a very cool event! Thanx to all who put this party together. I met great people from Washington, Oregon ,Arizona and elsewhere.If you didn,t go you missed a grat wingding.
