shops you'd recommend?

hi i'm a new mini owner and i'm looking for mechanics to do some work on my car... oil changes, suspension/motor work, and eventually painting some trim. i'd do some stuff myself but i'm not very mechanically inclined and have no storage for tools in my tiny apartment. anyone have any suggestions? i'm in hayward, ca. thanks!

Non dealer Johns European, Bay Bridge Motors, B&R Racing are the ones I've dealt with all were places I'd use again. I've dealt with Eastbay and Concord dealers both took care of what they were supposed to.

Bay Bridge Motors would be a one stop shop, as they can wrench on whatever you need & paint it too in their body shop. I'm in Wayward too & use them exclusively.

If you're in the southbay I recommend German Motor Specialist in Sunnyvale. A top notch outfit.

+1 - Please note that the least expensive (and most blue collar) is probably John's European. They have a few ex-East Bay MINI service techs.
