Anyway...not really relevant to the thread.
I've run every Bay to Bonkers since 1975 except one ... the year I had an Achilles injury.

To get back on topic if the OP brings his bike he can take part in Critical Mass.

No and no

It was the "Cable Car Chase," 5.7mi of fun! Sadly, ANA pulled out as the main sponsor so it's not happening this year.

I hope to run Bay to Breakers next year...

We've got Critical Mass in Chicago, too, but I've never ridden with them. As much as I love my car, I feel guilty hanging with them. That, and there's an unwritten code that it's unethical for a civil/roadway engineer to knowingly and purposefully impede traffic on a major scale. I could lose my license

I've only ridden in one Critical Mass ... the rather infamous July 25, 1997 ride documented in Wikipedia ... never again

I live in the East Bay and think you should consider an east Bay location near a BART station. That way you can bring your MINI and not pay extra for parking.

If you can find a place to park it, I would bring the car. If not, can you put it in storage back home to get it off the street?

We have great roads for Mini's out here. Check out Pashit's motoroads section, www.pashnit.com
