anyone use yarrow sport?
In the past there was a link between Yarrow and some MINI events; for example:

However, in my opinion he didn't treat folks right ... and apparently other people had the same opinion because he's no longer involved in pulley parties and other MINI activities.

Yarrow seems much more involved in the VW community. He got involved in pulley parties with Randy Webb, and I think his nose was out of joint because Randy was stealing his thunder. His Dyno seemed to give conflicting results when it was running and for the last planned event he didn't even bother to tell anyone that the dyno was down. Rich from OSMC finally found out and cancelled the event.Nobody's ever heard from Yarrow since and he certainly never became active on any of the forums.I do however think he does good work and I'm sure you could probably deal with him direct for any and all mods.I did provide him with a pulley tool , so I know he can at least do that job. i was involved with yarrow in the vw world, he is kinda a nice guy but comes from a very wealthy family and thinks very highly of himself. I do not doubt he does ok work but i think i would stop there. He has had a hard tiem keeping techs with experiance. He promotes mini but have never heard of anyone there. I dont think he knows how much of the mini market he could have had a big hold on if he had treated people right. I a nut shell all he wants is big $$ clients who want to build race cars..
Again on a personal note i thin yarrow is a halfway decent guy just follows a very money hungry and ego fed buiss...

He worked on my Dad's S4 and has offered to work on my WRX and MINI... Dont' have anything for him to do, but his rates are great (compared to the dealer for the WRX) so he'll get any work my car needs that I can't figure out, and anything on the MINI after 40k. Nice guy from my dealings with him.
I'm actually on my way over there right now to drop off a few sailing DVDs for him (I'm helping him rig his I-14).

He is a really nice guy, does top notch work from what i've seen, but sometimes there is a lack of communication, which can happen with everyone. No more dyno there, but I would trust him to do any work on my car.
If you dont mind driving up to Mass, you should stop by DT Automotive in Worcester, ask for Pete. He is a great guy, is on his 2nd MINI and will always be available to help with anything you need
