A bit alarmed to read all the snarky posts about Mini of Manhattan as we already ordered (MCSa Chili Red/White) from them before joining NAM. Oh well, too late to change that. But I have to say Lowri of MoM has been very nice to us so far, found us a driving school (I never got a US license since moving from UK) and put up with endless changing our mind about options, as well as being very frank about options, which we liked even though we didn't take her advice (she told us the panther leather and the automatic were not worth the money but we ordered them anyway).

Sample size of one, so your mileage may vary. Also we wandered downstairs into the BMW section, idly contemplating a 3 series wagon, and the BMW guy was not remotely interested in helping us. But so far with MoM it has been a very nice experience. Also we are moving to MD as soon as the car gets here so we won't have to worry about the service people drilling random holes in it.
