Hope everyone has a great time this weekend. I wish I could be there but I can't.

I actually had a thought of leaving Florida tonight around 3 am and driving straight through, be there through Saturday and then leave to head back on Sunday at 3 am but somethings came up that I can not get out of, so there will be next year.

great weekend, although i heard some horror stories about some groups and the "harley crowd" i didnt have any issues with them, other than the fact of a fuller dresser almost becomming the backend of a suburban!

i think when everything calms down, we should all head back to hurrican mtn road to have some moar fun

Had a great time this weekend as well. Wayne and his crew did a fantastic job for their first MOT, I thought! I am a bit lobstah-fied, but couldn't have asked for a better day.

On a quick side note - just so that everyone knows - It's a $176 fine in NH for not running a front plate. Thank you, Mr. Sheriff for the kind word of warning.

Dave, it was great to see you again! We had a blast, but I fear that some of the bikers didn't really like, or appreciate my hat. Thanks for the awesome pics and I will be getting up there again soon. It has been too long!

Had a great 4th weekend - Went to leave Maine, and my MINI wasn't happy...

Threw a couple codes and idled really hard - cleared the codes, turned it off, didn't have any trouble driving home - other than the car stuttering on acceleration with about 10 miles left of the trip home.

Went to start it today, and it was hard to get it to start - stuttered hard, and it idled really sporadically. Threw the same two codes, went into limp mode, and was un-drivable - anything over about 1500 RPM was too much for the car (can't even back it out of the parking spot...)

Codes are P0088 and P1216 - both are fuel delivery codes. One being a fuel rail code and the other being a fuel pump emergency operation code (sounds ominous LOL).

Hoping it's a HPFP issue (warranty). Going to get some advice from here and there before I get it towed anywhere.

Could just be a clogged injector or something coked up. Hard to tell without opening it up, or spending money for the dealer to tell me what's wrong...

Good news - it was the HPFP and Bedford took care of it and sent me in my way. Happy MINI = Happy Nick

Dropped the car off last Wednesday, and had it back on Thursday morning. It was easy and painless, and Jeff took good care of me. Definitely a move in the right direction from the last time I took my car to the dealership.

In other news, I installed a set of TSW Low Profile Jack Points in April. I've since lost two of them (They must have fallen off the car while I was driving).

I like them, but definitely need to figure out a way to secure them better... More LocTite.
