yea im down for meeting up for the ride to loon. I will either be camping or staying at a friends condo Sat night and plan on skipping most of the activities besides the mt climb .

 

The show at loon is fun. A ton of cars to look at and the meeting place for the scenic drives.

 

Ok I called...they have rooms wow 220 a night. Yikes how many nights everyone staying.What time is everyone heading up on Friday?.I booked two nights..We are probably going to go on dinner train in Conway on Sunday if anyone is up for that..

 

I will be doing springs, sway bar, strut bar,exhaust,and would like a passport please..

 

We are staying Friday and Saturday night. Nice that you got a room at the grand. i think we booked our suite for around 156ish maybe. Did they give you the MOT discount? I imagine they will do another meet and greet before hand at the MOB dealership. Does anyone want to meet and greet at my house before we head out?

Your house or mine is fine..I am on the way sorta..I would like to leave a bit on early side and check in ASAP try and make a day of it..

 

The last few years we would meet in Bedford with a large group and head up from there. We will do the same this year but we may have a drinkie or two before we leave the house.

I am a NM snob. I no longer have the M7 strut plates and I wouldn't push alta junk on anyone.

 

I think NM might be the winner but I will keep you posted.

What are you using for tower brace now? JCW?

 

Now that my exterior is finished (for the most part) I need to work on making this beast breath better! So Im going to need some NM Eng stuff as well for under the hood.

 

I am using the JCW strut brace. MOB had a great deal on it just after Christmas. I think I got it for 180. And yes, NM is the winner!!!

 

I would also agree that NM would be the winner for basically everything... Koni Yellows also seem to be popular with the NM Alpha Springs.

EBC and/or Hawk Pads, aftermarket rotors would be nice as well.

 

I created a list a few months ago when I was still there. Which I gave to the purchasing manager. NM was the first vendor on my list. The problem is NM do not offer parts for R50/R52/R53 MINIs. So you will need to find a company that offers all.

Not all the JCW or accessory parts are on the website. That was my last task before I left. Web department should have my emails with the lists for those.

What to impress? Get JCW and accessory listings for the R61 Paceman. They are sitting on dealer lots and new owners are looking for motoring goods.

Gordon and I talked about it yesterday. Working on a couple of things but he agrees that we need to start offering a little more variety for the Coopers.

well that doesnt look too too bad, i mean its not as clean looking as the ebay euro one. i guess i can machine my self some tower defenders to go along with it, thats the one you got from bav?

speaking of bav, ill take any r53 parts they can get their hands on other than alta, not a fan of their fitment, 0-2 on their end, and luckily i can machine my intercooler diverter to make it fit, and the intake i had to re route some rubber sealant, still have to put a bit more in
