oceanstatemini went away I see.... so I'm here wondering where I should take my car for service. It's at inskip right now for an oilchange since it needed it (I'm taking it over from my wife and it was overdue) and they've got a laundry list of other things it needs but they want ~$4500 for everything....

anyway, where should I go to get these things done for less than OEM/dealer prices? I registered (but haven't been approved) at massmotoringclub.com but I did see a thread there about greasy's garage in worchester. Sounds like they're the best option, but does anyone know of anything else around RI? I don't mind the distance to worchester, it's that that far would mean I'd have to sit and wait on a Saturday -vs- dropping it while I'm at work which isn't ideal with a brand new baby at home.

I have traveled there twice from Coventry already. Nice guys and they do quality work. As an example Inskip wanted $600.00 for a rear brake/rotor job on our 09 R56 Cooper. I had it done there last Saturday for $328.00. It took less than 1.5 hours. Plus the new pads don't create the dust like the OEM brake pads do. I've checked around RI but was unable to find any dedicated Mini Shops. Good Luck.
