Steve (CCM here) who organized the event got hit for a 15% gratuity from the Mount Washington Auto Road people - it had not been previously noticed that this was a requirement.
I hope no-one disputes that the Auto Road people did great service and deserve the money. But Steve should not be out of pocket for $540, which he is currently!

So please consider mailing a check to Steve to cover 15% of what you paid him for the event (which was $20 per person for the drive and $10 per person for food).
