Hello everyone.
I'm a new user around here. Just to briefly introduce myself: my name is Rafael, from Brazil and Im a luckly owner of a 2011/12 Black Countryman All4.
Heading back to the topic subject: Mini Connected issues... My central simply do not recognize my iPhone! I tried all different cables and stuff (the two original ones - rectangular and triangular shaped and some others). I'm pretty sure that this problem is related to the current versions of my central, which are MX 002.005.025 and TX 002.006.005.
Btw, my iPhone is running the iOs 5.1.1.
Does anyone here have a clue about how to fix this little problem? Actually, I know that I need to update my Multimidia version, unfortunately I just don't know how to!... The Telephone (TX) version I just uptaded with a file downloaded at the BMW official website, but what about the Multimidia one, only with the official retailer or can I do it by myself?

Oh, and another timely stuff: the cable related to video streaming is the rectangular or the triangular one?

 

go to the Mini Connectivity site http://www.mini.com/connectivity/ and download the latest update to a USB drive. The instructions are provided on the site.

I would try this first before buying any more hardware.

Unfortunatelly, I'm pretty sure that this one is exactly the same update I did last time, which only changed the Telephone version... I'll give it another shot anyway
Oh, and btw, I didn't bought any of those hardwere hehe got'em with some friends. What I'm trying is exactly save some money, 'cause the person at the Mini assistence here is charging me to set my multimidia version up-to-date...

 

Have you tried other iphones or ipods to at least determine if the problem is from your phone or connected or just the cable?
