My MA was demonstrating a few setting on the Nav screen and changed the display from Day mode to night mode...which made the map background appear in grey. I tried it for a few weeks now I want to switch back and can't see the menu for this setting.

Any advice?

Also, why isn't this an automatic option like on most portalbe Garmin's I've used...they switch to the right day/night mode at local sunrise/sunset time (which is something a GPS automatically knows).

 

 

I wish it would toggle from day to night mode automatically like most any other GPS I've seen too...

 

Yea it's completely pointless IMHO to include a night mode if it doesn't change automatically.
