Has enyone had experience with the Lowrance 500c??

I sell it, I've played with it a little. Its not bad but your better off with a Garmin, like the Nuvi 350/360 or 650/660

I have the lowrance I way 250 c and I really don't like it, but for $150.00 what could you ask for.

I have a 500C in my other car. Great GPS, 10GB for MP3 files. Voice is excellent quality (not computer-like). Downside is that it is big and heavy. The supplied RAM mount is industrial quality (but big). For my MCS (due to arrive in 2 weeks), I bought a Nuvi 350. Much more portable, smaller footprint, and I can bring on business trips.
