iPOD+Nav+SIRIUS?

On MTTS I spoke with the Sirius rep and she explained that there was an adapter that allows the iPOD to be connected with Sirius and Nav with all the functionality. She told me it was in the parts catalog. i have not been able to find it, anyone know anything about this?

There's no such animal in the MINI catalogs... But, the OEM Sirius tuner DOES have a pass through port and that might be what she was talking about. The cord that connects to it is a BMW part and carries a BMW part number...

However it's been a year and half since I got mine and I don't recall the number.... sorry...

The cable is the same as the one that connects the changer interface on the right rear side to the Sirius unit in the left side - BMW p/n 84110150532 . This cable creates the Sirius tuner 'pass-thru' has the same 3-pin and 6 pin connections that a CD-changer or something like the DICE Electronics or Monster iCruze units can be connected to. I purchased the cable from my local MINI dealer for about $10.

Note however, that using this pass-thru arrangement seems to introduce a ground loop (alternator whine) when the ipod interface is selected. It was bad enough on the Monster iCruze that I sold it to another non-Sirius owner, but it barely noticeable on the Dice unit after moving one pin (ground wire) in the DICE cable.
