MP3Pro Vs MP3

Will the CD player in the newer (2006) MINI play MP3Pro files and how much loss of quality can be expected?

MP3Pro will play in the 05/06 MINIs. The sample rate is not as high but for some of us that is not really all that important in our MINIs. Twenty some odd albums of music on a single cd is pretty impressive if you are not an Autoaudiophile.

It's not mentioned too often, but I believe the 05+ headunit will also play unprotected WMA (Windows Media Audio) files. You could also try that out for comparison.
