I have heard not to turn the car on while the front seats are out because it will give a faulty airbag warning or something like that...

I'm installing my amp right now...

But will the warning go off if i only play music? since i have an MCS '06 you dont need the car on to play the stereo, just push power and it is on,

so no need for the key to be in the ignintion to play music... so I would be okay right?

 

the airbag light will go on if you put the key to run..... And it will stay on when you put the seat back in.

But just running the head unit won't be a problem. Also, watch where you get your amp power from.....

I am mounting my amp under my drivers seat... I just got all the
wiring done, the power is hooked up to the battery from the boot.. then i
have remote turn on, that is hooked up to the power antenna on the stock HU...

Now i have to make sure tha amp does not move around under the seat... so i will be cutting the styrofoam so it doesnt move around...

I still need to make my sub box... so I will be fine tuning the amp once i get the sub box built...

but i only have 1 hour left... I have to go to a wedding so trying to get this all done :D
