Factory CD Changer

On a MCS can some one tell me how the Factory CD Changer physically mounts in the boot? also how the Factory CD Changer protective case mounts?.
I would like to mount the Factory CD Changer protective case without the CD Changer if possible, I would like to use the protective case to store the jack, Continental Tire ContiComfortkit and tire plugs.

Thanks

Here are the offical directions for installing a CD Changer. Step 7 covers the physical mounting.
