Check the bottom of page 3 on this thread - they discuss a Mac install

 

I want to do this update so bad. I pulled the disc out of the drive under the passenger seat and it says 2002-1 navtech its even Fodors?! Is this too old school for the update. I dont see anything on it that says DVD. The MINI is a 03' mcs jcw. What do you think? BTW there Eric, you know my homeslice Skottoman? We go wwwaaayyy back. Any help with this would be cool...beer. You can check the version of software by pressing menu, then go to settings. Up in the right corner you'll see the software version. If you see a '3 - 1/xx' then you have the CD version vs. DVD (DVD is '4 - '). I think they made the change some time during the '03 MY. Also, the CD version only has portions of the country on the CD (it should identify this) whereas the DVD covers the whole country.
Skottoman sounds familiar, but don't think I know him.
