I was thinking of buying the Dension Icelink plus for my MINI to connect my nano. Now if I buy the Icelink plus for my MINI, will it work on an e46?

The reason why I'm asking this is because I plan to sell my MINI in for an e46 M3 after winter. And it would be nice if the Icelink plus that I have bought for my MINI works in the e46 M3.

Or are they universal BMW/MINI applications?

 

If I'm not mistaken, when I picked up my ICElink plus from the local Best Buy, it said BMW on it, and had a list on the back of the box about compatible models. It should work with your E46, but I'm not 100% positive.

 

Talked to my brother and he said that the icelink plugs into the CD changer slot at the back of the headunit. Our MINIs should be prewired for CD changers right? If so then I assume that it should have the CD changer slot at hte back of the HU.
