Phatbox

Does anyone know if a Phatbox mp3 player with a BMW wiring harness will plug into a MINI cd changer plug?

Phatbox - installed

About a month ago I started a thread on the install of the phatbox.

I own the 60m phatbox and it installed to the factory wiring. Not sure if there is a difference on the wiring for a mini vs a bmw. A great source would be bavarian autosport. Check their website for a Ph# and they will be able to help.

The install took 5 minutes and 15 minutes to mount the unit.

The phatbox is outstanding!

Question is why not just go IPOD? You will get more usuability from it?

I know the ICE-Link kit for the BMW fits the MINI.

I'm not really into the iPod. I already have a great 1gb MP3 player that is perfect for running and going to the gym with. I want the Phatbox because it is easy to browse genre, artist, album, etc... Another reason is that a friend of mine down here in Iraq is offering me a great deal on his Phatbox that he took out of his 330i before he sold it.
