Navigation & Audio Where to get a factory in-dash cd player?
I was fortunate enough to get a mini off the lot that was very close to what I wanted. Unfortunately it has a tape deck and a cd changer. I'd like to remove the tape deck(since I will never use it) and cd changer(which I use now, but would rather have the little extra space in the rear) and I was wondering if anybody knows where I could get a factory in-dash cd player. Does anybody out there have one for sale? Otherwise I guess I will have to get an aftermarket model.
>>I'd like to be able to listen to books on tape.
There are more and more books being released on CD now.

Just a thought - you can copy audio tapes to .mp3 using free software like MusicMatch and any tape player (even a walkman - just go to Radio Shack and buy a small cord that looks like the jack end of your headphones on both ends to plug into the Mic port on your PC). After configuring appropriate settings on the software, all you do is press play on the walkman and record on the computer and come back to .mp3 files. Once you record the tapes into .mp3 you can then burn them to audio CDs.
It is easier than it might sound.
